Naylor

Geotextiles

Description

We offer a range of geotextiles that complement our core ranges of infiltration and attenuation structures and our grass & gravel reinforcement systems.

Geotextiles are more effective than traditional products like concrete, asphalt & clay capping due to their wide range of physical, mechanical and chemical resistance properties protecting our environment and water resources.

Our range of geomembranes are available in two HDPE or LLDPE.

HDPE High Density Polyethylene:

HDPE is recognised as the most durable of impermeable geomembranes, it has a very high resistance to stress cracking and is extremely resistant to most chemicals, this coupled with its excellent physical properties make it the robust geomembrane of choice for the Naylor Aquavoid attenuation systems to create an impermeable wrap protected by the Naylor GT1900 fleece above.

Available as both a 1mm and 0.75mm thickness in roll size as follows:

1.0mm & 0.75mm HDPE – 5.1m x 100m rolls, 1mm also available in 2.5m x 35m rolls.

LLDPE Linear Low Density Polyethylene:

LLDPE is the most flexible of the plastic sheeting films and is easier to use on complicated shapes due to its pliability, it also has a very high resistance to stress cracking and is extremely resistant to most chemicals, this coupled with its excellent physical properties make it the geomembrane of choice for the smaller more complicated Naylor Aquavoid attenuation systems to create an impermeable wrap protected by the Naylor GT1900 fleece above.

Available as both a 1mm and 0.75mm thickness in roll size as follows:

1.0mm LLDPE & 0.75mm – 5.1m x 100m rolls, The 0.75mm is also available in 2.5m x 50m rolls.

Non-Woven Geotextile Porous Protection Fleece

Description

Special heavy duty (180g) non-woven needle punched thermally bonded geotextile is designed to form a protective layer over the Naylor Geomembranes when wrapped around the Aquavoid system to form an attenuation structure or on its own for infiltration structures. The GT1900 is available as either a 4.5m x 100m or 2.2m x 100m roll.

Non-Woven Geotextile Porous Protection Fleece

Description

Extra heavy duty fleece (300g) black non-woven needle punched NON thermally bonded geotextile is available in compliance with the latest CIRIA recommendations to form a protective layer over the Naylor Geomembranes when wrapped around the Aquavoid system to form an attenuation structure or on its own for infiltration structures. The GT3000 is available as a 1.83m x 80m (146m3) roll.

GT3000 – Non-Woven Geotextile Porous Protection Fleece

Non-Woven Geotextile Porous Layer

Description

Medium duty (140g) non-woven needle punched thermally bonded geotextile is designed specifically for SUDs schemes where the Naylor grass/gravel protection grids (Integra, Enviroblock & AdPave) are used to provide a SUDs complaint surface. Positioned below the sand bedding layer, this allows fast and efficient evacuation of water from the finished surface whilst retaining the fines and preventing migration into the porous sub base. The GT1500 is available as either a 4.5m x 100m or 2.2m x 100m roll.

Non-Woven Geotextile Separation Layer

Description

Light duty (100g) non-woven needle punched thermally bonded geotextile is designed for use beneath the Naylor grass/gravel protection grids (Integra, Enviroblock & AdPave) where a fully compliant SUDs solution is not required but drainage of the surface is still important. Positioned below the sand bedding layer, this prevents migration of fines into the sub base and also provides drainage. The GT1200 is available in 4.5m x 100m rolls.

Woven Geotextile Separation (Equivalent to a T1000)

Description

This light duty woven Poly-Propylene geotextile is designed to be equivalent to the generic T1000 used in highway works. However it is folded prior to rolling to allow it to be delivered economically by standard transport. Roll sizes are actually 4.5m x 100 but have been folded to produce 2.25m x 100m rolls.
